  • Bien !

    Mais l'original est INÉGALABLE !!!!

Ceux qui disent l'inverse devraient ré-écouter KING CRIMSON !!!!

Ici il manque la profondeur !

  • I was i the second row at this gig.

  • @lukuntri - some would say that the court of the crimson king is, by definition, hell ("crimson king" being a euphemism for the devil) so saying this lady's cover "must go to hell" can be construed as a compliment. I've heard that John Mellencamp's "Little diddy about Jack and Diane" is playing on Hell's intercom system - automatic repeat. I hope that isn't true, this lady doesn't deserve that.

  • oh come on if woman sings king crismon.etc. she must be super duper singer with greg lakes voice or go to hell.

and this one must go to hell

  • I hate to blaspheme against Crimso, and I love the original. Love it. But I can't deny that from now on whenever I'm in the Court of the Crimson King - I'm going to also want to visit the Hall of the Mountain King. There's no accounting on matters of taste. But I don't think this'll replace the original as the definitive version like Aretha's r.e.s.p.e.c.t. replaced Otis Redding.

  • @qhyperbola THIS IS GOOD BUT LETS NOT GO OVERBOARD SAYING ITS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL

  • I think this could replace the original as the definitive version for this song. It's amazing what female vocals does for ITCOTCK. The overall haunting sorrowful tone is well complemented by the energetic menace of the rapidfire drum electric guitar peer gynt detour. - it seems to almost complete the song in a way. I also miss the mellotron. I wonder what fripp thinks. This version is spiritually moving. Saxon's cover is just Eh (at best) compared to this or the original.

  • Sorry but...this version sucks. I'll have to agree with the other comments. If you want to hear a good cover of this song listen to the SAXON version.

  • I'm missing the good old Mellotron...

  • Nice references to Grieg's "Peer Gynt" suite.
