3. I too feel your annoyance when it comes to hair issues. I've been trying to let my hair grow out since summer 2006... It is now fall 2011, and let's just say that you've got waaaaaaaaaay more hair than I could ever grow! LOL!

Finasteride will ONLY regrow hair in specific regions on most people. It is possible that the Finasteride will restore or arrest your current loss, but it will NOT regrow hair as thick and as plentiful enough to restore you to your same level as when you were in your late teens.
Increasing the dosage beyond 1 mg/day frequently causes your sperm ducts to clog with jellied semen. This happens in some but not all. Higher dose does not equate to more hair growth.
It is safer to date straight men.
