I attended this function as a nine-year-old. I had to run for my life and luckily we lived in the hospital grounds and the run for dear life was thus shorter for me than for most. We revered Kenyatta, but now as a grown up I can look at his record with better lenses. I find little positive that this man contributed to the well being of the nation he purported to have created; tribalism, nepotism, corruption, dictatorship, and theft are just but a few of the ills he bequethed to the rest of us.

@Andlary Lol funny that. All Luos are related one way or another. I bet you, if you give any two Luos about ten minutes, no matter how distant their bloodlines are, they will find a common relative. If I had a dollar for how many times I was stopped from dating some chick coz we were "related", I'd be a millionaire by now.
