@someoneweird92 The name of song is "Tammurriata nera"

@IvanFilorusso I think you missed the point of the movie. By a mile. The film isn't supposed to be a morality tale about the law and bureaucracy, but about the bleakness and lack of hope for working class people in post-war Italy. There's a reason that De Sica chose to cast no professional actors (similar to Eisenstein's casting habits).

Bruno is portrayed like a little man, his father even lets him drink. but he looks soo young and unable to enjoy his childhood, he has to work to help hos family survive. its heartbreaking

can someone tell me what is the name of this song ?

Wooowwwwwwwww.... Only on YouTube does everyone have to disagree with everyone else and have a fucking ridiculous argument about nothing. Mature. You both are fucking retarded and should not speak to each other if you disagree. Who cares what the theme is?? I just want to watch the damn clip!

@KublayKahn one more thing: stating the obvious does nothing more than take up space, hence your initial comment and this drawn-out episode of bickering.
-
@KublayKahn i think you're confusing my effort to end this conversation with your delusion of me giving up. apparently you're not aware so i'll be the one to inform you: to take the cake means to win. i ended it-or tried to- after claiming victory, but you insist on continuing this ridiculous conversation...so go ahead and get the last word in if it makes you feel any better because i'm done. and just try not to misinterpret any more simple expressions.
-
@azurenscens giving up huh? good you would've lost anyway :)
-
@KublayKahn yes...because i was being sincere when i said i like sex and all that jazz- that was actually my attempted equivalent to your first comment. i was aiming for something just as bland. and even tho your comment was obviously relevant to the film whereas mine was not, i still think i take the cake for having the more thought-provoking comment.
That's a sign of a great film though, you feel the emotions that the characters feel. If a movie doesn't make you laugh, cry, angry, ect... it's not worth watching.

This movie shows the bed reality of Humanity:
a men whose bycicle was stolen is arrested when he try to get one for an honest work ; on the other side a professional thief of bycicles was protected by his scum and ignored by the burocracy of laws. Strong Moral teachings by the movies. One of the best tale.
