  • @DreamtReality Your welcome, :D

  • @borquienkid09 Thank you for the wonderfully written reply.

  • @DreamtReality Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that always falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday. The feast commemorates an event mentioned by all four Canonical Gospels (Mark 11:1-11, Matthew 21:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19): the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem in the days before his Passion. In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshipers.

  • @DreamtReality Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of adherents as a sign of repentance. The ashes used are typically gathered after the Palms from the previous year's Palm Sunday are burned. This paste is used by the minister who presides at the service to make the sign of the cross.

  • Can someone explain to me why all this is done? I mean what does "Ash Wednesday" and "Palm Sunday" represent? Where does it say this must be done?

  • I thought you guys need to soak them in the holy altar oils.
