@ProfFarnsworthphd Well maybe I should give you the modified script I came up with. The "BeingShot" animation isn't canned, its a Euphoria animation. When started at the same time as the "BodyBalance" animation and setting "Player.CanControlRagdoll = true;" you end up with an effect similar to how Niko acts when drunk, but unlike your original you can still retain partial control and the direction Niko staggers is less random.

That's actually really epic. More immersive as you can see Niko is being hit rather than just seeing a blood spurt lol XD

I'm looking at this video... and I don't see much difference with my game as it is now, I have all these behaviors already, I don't see what is the difference with this mod, someone can clarify that?

@JDFS22 Niko staggers when he gets shot or injured. In the default game, he does not.

I was looking at this as a replacement for the old Ragdoll by pain asi script. Since this one seems to give more control. The problem is it only affects the player. I personally like to be able to shoot a fleeing person and see them fall flat on their face. Any chance at making this script affect all peds? If you aren't willing to do it would you mind if I modified the script myself to do so?

@Ashnal - Feel free to modify it as you see fit. Not too much time for modding lately, so I doubt I would get to it anytime soon. If you use my script, please give appropriate credit when doing so. Thanks.

@ProfFarnsworthphd Eh well after a bit of toying, I realized that vanilla GTA has a Euphoria animation for peds getting shot which it uses normally unmodified, I originally thought it was caused by the RDbyPain mod. Though it means I don't really need to modify this, why wouldn't you use the "being shot" animation for niko anyways? It works really well when combined with giving the player control. The player basically gets pushed by the bullet and suffers the drunken control effect.

@Ashnal - the being shot animation was a "canned" option, where as the euphoria trigger allows different actions to happen depending on what you are doing. I also did not use the ragdoll option because it caused Niko to always fall down, which was rather annoying.
