A short video of me playing the first part of Namidacchi by Morning Musume. There is no sheet music or anything and I did it in one shoot which is why I make ample mistakes. I wanted to see this done on piano and had yet to see it done on youtube so hopefully this will inspire someone to do this song justice on piano :P

Chords are as follows:

G/B C D G
Am Bm D Em C B
G C D B/Eb Em C7 D B

  • my chords are different from yours =(

  • @rodrommel Yeah what I used was more optimized for my style. The intro is actually G C D G (first G is an inversion with B as the root). The chorus I simplified the transitions to make it smoother.

  • @skeez86 I see you used B major... I used Bm since i played the song in G major. I dunno, i guess i listened to it different from you. must also be the difference in instruments

  • @rodrommel I think I see where you used Bm. For the final chorus? That actually is better, I didn't catch that when I was writing it up.

As for the other B's I think in the chorus the B/Eb (which is actually better expressed as B7 First Inversion) is part of an irregular resolution from the D chord before moving into the vi (Em).

Out of curiosity what chords did you use for the song? maybe I can adapt some?

  • Looking forward to have full version!!!!!

  • i love this piano version very much!!!

  • @rodrommel One minor comment: for the chorus, I think it doesnt matter if you use B or Bm. I play the chorus with heavy distortion using power chords (root and the fifth, omitting the third. This is very common for overdriven guitar) and I think the harmony in the original recording does the same so if you play a B or Bm it wont matter. At the end, the chorus is played clean (no power chords) so that's probably why you think it's better for the end since there it is actually a Bm

  • @skeez86 for the intro and the verse i used G, C, D, G. For the pre chorus i used Am, Bm, Em, Am, G. For the chorus I used G for two bars, D, Bm, Em, Am, G, Bm and the second time around the chorus is G for two bars, D, Bm, Em, Am, G, Bm, Am, G. For the bridge with the rapping I just soloed over it so I didnt figure the chords out for that part

  • this is awesome....please make a full version...
