Born in 1876, ordained as a novice at 13.
He was ordained under the royal sponsorship at
Wat Takrai, Phisanuloke province. He was the royal mentor
and teacher of the Khmer language to H.R.H. Crown Prince Mongkot when the Crown Prince was ordained a novice.
A monks of profound wisdom, he was renowned
for his sagacity and his witty eloquence.
He strictly observed all tenets of itinerant
monk hood. He passed away
at the age of 85.
