well....as what you did...i used dvi cord spliter...one is dvi and the other end is vga...
so since my 22" samsung can be plugged to dvi then i use the vga to my 14" monitor..
now...If you want to know how to make it work..then i will create another video tutorial on how to make it work..:)

Disable automatic updates * I have a dell optiplex sx280 and am trying to install duel monitors. It only has a DVI port on the back but software shows it can handle duel monitors. I purchased a 24+5 DVI-I Male to 2 VGA Female Adapter Splitter Cable but the computer doesn't see the second monitor. Do I have the wrong adapter cable or is there software I need to make work?
