A tribute to arguably one of the best coaches in NCAA College football history. Joe Paterno has the most wins for any coach in Division 1 NCAA history. Joe Paterno also has the most BCS Bowls wins, counting in at 24. At 83 years old, "Joe Pa" is loved by fans all around the Penn State orginaztion. Please enjoy. @TheLearnedFinger When people say he did nothing, that's completely false. He told his authorities, if you were as busy as him at the time and protecting a BIG name, are you going to want to have to deal with something to that degree? Also, he coached with Sandusky for 10+ years before hearing anything about it, and an intern coach reported it to him. Think about it in Paterno's shoes.Yes, Joe could have and should have done more. But honestly, he made very little humane mistakes than that.

With that being said, January 22, 2012, Joe Paterno has died of lung cancer at 85. RIP Joe Paterno. He was a great man. We Are, Penn State.

If you have read the grand jury report and believe paterno is a criminal then you are just dumb or lack any sense of knowledge. Paternos name was mentioned under 3 times in the report. Also, all incidents other than the first and last were when no one was in the building/ by the showers. A lengthy investigation was under way by the third victim. In two decades joe pa will be considered a legend.

Despite what you think, Joe Paterno is and will always be a legend. He transformed a whole State University. He is not to take all the blame for what happened. Although he could have done more, obviously he does not support child molestation and the disgusting acts Jerry Sanduskey committed. No one with 17 grand children would. Please respect a legend like Joe, it's tough to se him have to go like this after such a legacy. Joe Paterno is a LEGEND. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die."

Can i say to everyone. Who cares right now about the sandusky thing. Sandusky is a sick individual. Paterno was a legend an icon who cared about all the people who came in and out of Penn State he was a shine of Light in this darkening world and he did do what he was suppose to about the sandusky incident he was just the scapegoat if anyone should be ashamed it would be the president and AD at the time.
