Manchester tour guide Ed Glinert takes us on a trip to some of Manchester's most significant buildings and shows how the city has taken its architectural inspiration from sources around the world. Featuring the Friends Meeting House, the Free Trade Hall (now the Radisson Edwardian Hotel), Manchester Town Hall, Lee House and the Beetham Tower.

  • Great city not shown as well as it could be. The video was poor quality and the guide looked as if he needed a good shave. Need to much more professional when trying to "sell" to the public.

  • Great buildings of a great city displayed in a poor video.

Also, the guide must be a contender for the scruffiest tour guide in the UK! Surely when working with the public, you need to look the part. He looks a disgrace.

  • I'm coming back home to Manchester for the first time In 9 years next week and can't wait to show my home city to my wife :)

Great vid by the way :)

  • what about Calatrava's bridge?

  • Great video.
