This is my first battle commentary for Rome Total War (awesome game) in a Lan Battle Vs a friend. I make a few mistakes in unit names and such but more are on the way and I will try to be more accurate. Hope you enjoy it and check out the game.
The best part of the game is being outnembered, they have really good siege engines and you have no chance in hell of defending your walls, but still kicking their ass.
My other lolz moment was when i was playing medieval total war 2 and pitted 20 squads of rocket launchers( if you havent played it think firework launchers of doom) vs my full squads of english knights.........i got my ass handed to me:P sorry for the mistake, (i hate being the barbarians....pussies
Haha yea the fuckin barbarians. Really changes the gameplay though, you actually have to protect your general unlike with the roman or greek factions.
this brings back a wonderfull memory of when i managed to defend a regular stone wall with 200 roman principles against a army of 4000 greek hoplites and a retarded amount of cavalry.
i won with a ridiculous amount of luck and falling back lobbing pilum at every street corner( it turned into frickin stalingrad) good video but i cant help but notice that nearly all your friends units are weak ass and that this might be a set up.
He chose numbers over upgrades... His cavalry superiority as well as his archer superiority should have beat me but i got a lucky kill on his general and as with most of the barbarian factions his units routed almost immediately. Also good story i might do a seige battle later on and try something similar
yeah that would be good.
