Samoan Heritage Week - Military Ball, Dole Ballrooms, 7 Aug 09

During the inaugural event, Samoan Heritage Week, celebrated during the week of 2-8 August in the Aloha State of Hawaii, a Military Ball event took place the evening of 7 Aug 09 to honor our sons and daughters in uniform. This was also an opportunity for our retirees, veterans and wounded warriors to join in as well as families and friends. It was an evening filled with honor, pride and duty not only for our role in the US Armed Forces but also as a people, the Samoan people!

Talofa Nesianson - although it's been months since I checked on this video that I created and uploaded, I realized later that many folks were approaching me about this same video that was uploaded by you. I'm sorry to hear about the negativism, but it was the BEST joint military Samoan ball ever thrown - I have not heard of a better one yet. Unfortunately, Samoans are best at tearing eachother down rather than promoting eachother. I'm honored to have been part of this historical event.
