  • What is the theme of To a goose? I need to know!

  • If an artist or a writer is fascinated by the subconcious and finds challenge in the illogical arrangements of materials to express it, then we are right is calling him a surrealist. These "isms" reflect the currents of history and the pervasive spirits that sweep through any given time and space. They offer clues of what artists are about. They are not born in a vacuum. When you enter a video store, don't you want movies to be categorized?

  • Read Heine's essay on Romanticism, and Schiller's lecture on why we study universal history. Categorizing art into academic pigeonholes is the worst thing one can do to art. It turns it into dull museum pieces to be sniffed at by snobs.

  • I always thought of you as a Romantic in poetry and a baroque/neo-classical in music. Are you getting surreal now?

  • Why chicken is so low in fat and goose so high is beyond me. Somewhere along the way evolution screwed up.

  • Ah, do a video about that! Practical advice is needed. Household thrift is always a popular subject.

  • Metaphor trumps empiricism. Its certainly more fun.

  • I have the works of Robert Southey on my shelves, but it's been quite a while since I plunged into them. I am more of a modernist who delves into the audacious and transgressive, as well as the confessional style of poetry personified in Anne Sexton.

  • You don't want to cook a goose until you have a huge pan for the drippings. Keep the grease and save money on Crisco. I am the voice of experience.

  • I gotta introduce you to my aunt. She usually produces a decent turkey around the holidays.
