This is just my base station. I have a satellite station that is still under construction that will house three immersion heaters and the PT100 platinum resistance thermometer.
Based loosely on the design at http://seattlefoodgeek.com/2010/02/diy-sous-vide-heating-immersion-circulator...

  • That mechanical relay must drive you nuts.

  • What plug did you use on the pt 100 probe? Some say you shouldn't do this since it changes the length and resistance of the prob wires.Did you calibrate probe to verify accuracy?

Upgrade to a Solid State Relay. You can get a 25A SSR for $8 and the heat sink is $5 at lightobject and if you don't pull over 7A or so you can run without the heatsink. The mechanical ones don't last very long and the annoying click would drive me nuts, especially since while maintaining it clicks on and off a lot.
