You are missing the whole point of exponential growth. In roughly 100 years 7 billion becomes 14 billion, another 100 years 14 becomes 28 and so on. Watch the growth animation on the map again. Did you not notice how fast the map filled up in the last couple hundred years in comparison to the previous thousands of years? More people can be born in 1 century than have ever existed! If this rate continues and you can not foresee this potentially being a problem, then I don't know what to tell you.
