British Board of Film Censors - Quartet (1948) Somerset Maugham

"Quartet" was the first of three films based on the short stories of William Somerset Maugham, each of which was introduced with a few words from the author himself. A star-studded cast included Dirk Bogarde, Honor Blackman, Cecil Parker, George Cole and Basil Radford, supported by a host of fine character players. A new music score by John Greenwood is sympathetically used to good effect throughout the film.

The film is available to buy on dvd in the UK from Network but sadly the print does not have the original British Board of Film Censors introduction recording an "A" certificate.

Is there no place where I can watch this movie and Encore free? I saw Trio the other night on TCM and it was pretty good. I'd like to see the others but don't collect DVD's so am not interested in purchasing. What about paying to watch online?

@frederickwiddowson Your best bet is to ask TCM to play the other two films. If the feedback from Trio was good they probably will!
