Lisa Maione is a graphic designer interested in visual activity and projects that involve research and interdisciplinary collaboration. As a Part-time Lecturer in the School of Constructed Environments, she teaches a required seminar on Portfolio Preparation to Architectural Design and Interior Design (BFA) seniors. In this class, she guides students through the process of compiling, editing, designing and making a student portfolio book that showcases the work that each students completed while at Parsons. Through Instance, a design practice, she seeks to create and implement new methods to visualize ideas to invigorate information. Not limited by medium, she works on publication design, branding, information graphics, and book design as well as on websites and new media collaborations. Maione is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design in Graphic Design.
