  • How long do you suggest doing this? Five of each, resting, and doing it again until you've done it like six times or something? (And I'm guessing it should be every day ...)

  • You can just do this routine 1x a day! If you do it over and over you will burn out, there's more benefit in letting your muscles recover. If it's too easy, try going slower and concentrate on your form.

  • Why does the neck feel sore while doing the exercise? Is it expected from a beginner? I end up stopping and needing to rest because I can't hold the neck position up.

  • I'm sorry it took me so long to reply on this one--neck strain is common when you start this exercises. If it happens to you, simply put your head down and continue the exercise with your head resting. When it feels better, lift it up again. With practice, you'll notice you can keep your head up longer and longer--this is because your upper abdominal muscles will start to strengthen up and support your upper body better. You can also add a pillow under your head to help your neck.

  • Holy crap!!! I just did this and no other stomach workout feels this way!!! This DEFINITELY works...I can FEEL it!!! Lol time to add this to my exercise routine! :D

  • It ain't no joke

  • Damn I'd die

  • @alisawyattfitness they say some pilates excercises should not be done more often than one workout every other day - would you say this stomach series is like that? Or can this workout be done once daily? thanks :)

  • you make it look so easy.

  • @MrsAlexandraSam sometimes it helps to press your tongue to the roof of your mouth because it relaxes your neck muscles. as far as a headache, it could be just hat your sitting up too fast causing the blood to rush back downward.

  • It looks easy when i first watch this video, cos u make it look so easy. After trying it out, i just realize that it's very hard and my leg does not straighten out like yours, i think i have to keep on doing it to be like u. Thank you^_^

  • dear alisa, by saying doing it once a day, do you mean doing the final summarized section in the video daily? if i'm not used to doing these exercises and tire out easily can i still do them but with less repetitions? will that work? do these exercises bulk my muscles up?
