Elephant Parade 2010 Harapan

This is a short film I made for Rebecca Sutherland (Illustrator working in South London), this was part of the biggest art project London will see. The 250 strong elephant herd will take over the capital at the beginning of May 2010, this is just one of them.
These stills document the progress of her painting an elephant for the Sumatran Orangutan Society (S.O.S.), a charity that is fighting against the extinction of Orangutans. The music is copyrighted to the various artists of the Melayu Music of Sumatra and the Riau Islands which seemed to fit perfectly with the theme of the film.
