Watch out if you get arrested in California from now on.. because a superior court in Ventura County just passed a law that allows police to search the contents of someones phone that they arrested. So any text or dirty pictures you have you might want to get rid of. I guess what led to this was that a man got arrested because he was in a car that was involved in purchasing of some drugs extacey to be specific..and he first denied knowing anything about the drug deal but after an officer wen through his phone and found text messages to say otherwise he was sentenced. I def don't think this will get past the supreme court though its def an evasion of privacy to a whole other level.

Does that mean we can walk right into a Bad Cops house and blow him away?

Would be interresting to see an "Off Duty" Police Officer getting arrested... and have this same law used against him/her. And, find text messages within their personal phone, revealing them being involved purchasing some Weed... while they were not at work. Or even find dirty pictures of their spouse and etc...
Even though I bet that situation would NEVER make it to the general public/media though. lol.
