How should I use and respond to the terms conspiracy theory and conspiracy theorist in conversation and debate?

How to make sense of conspiracy theories. Written and edited by Rob Ager. the original article can be read at http://www.collativelearning.com/

Part nine explores a series of basic perceptual and communication principles that will allow both purveyors and debunkers of any given conspiracy theory to resolve disagreements instead of falling into circular straw man and character judgement arguments.

  • @StevenErnest Have just looked at some of your video and it seems you either haven't watched my video (the one you're trying to respond to) or it's content went over your head. Sorry, but I think your video is a one sided straw man argument and so I haven't authorized it. You're promoting extremely negative stereotypes, which is something I disapprove of on either side of a debate.

  • @sadfasdf74 The whole point of the video is to help you figure out conspiracy theories for yourself :)

  • Excellent series. Unfortunately we will never get this kind of adult discourse involving world events on any kind of mass scale. Most peoples' version of history and current events is their religion, reinforced daily by a heavily controlled media system (their priesthood). To question it is blasphemy.

  • @robag88 there's a new York newspaper article about you topic was the decoding the shining check it out.

  • This is an excellent series. Well done.

  • @moderjoker Your first question is far too vague to give an answer to. As for my reasons for making my videos, see the FAQ on my website. Link is on my channel page.

  • @robag88 3. Could conspiracy theories be a good way of figuring out human nature itself? I like reading guys like Nietzsche because he tells you what to expect in the realms of the HUMAN, and that is enough for anyone to explore the order behind and reach a point where he can get it out and really make a change. I hope someone gets to that point soon and DOES something, because this world is becoming dark, and we are in need of candles.

  • @robag88 OK, i do this because nobody talks about conspiracy theories without having some knowledge himself, so here it goes:

    1. What are the chances that someone with power may know that i know his/her secrets? (is it safe to know a secret?)

    2. Tell us something we don't know, implying that what you know is better known than forgotten. There is a reason behind your videos. Please tell your audience what is that reason. I think it's fair enough.

  • @moderjoker Say what you mean in the first place and you'll get a straight answer. So you're saying Jews are behind all the world's corruption and you want to know if I agree. You've missed the point of the vid. It's up to you to research and figure these things out rather than someone else reaching a conclusion for you, but I will say if you think all of the world's corruption is attributable to one source or race then you either didn't watch my video or weren't paying attention.

  • @robag88 YEEES! What the hell, man, are you eating shrooms?
