You da nachiest. Simple as that. No other brings the pictures with the beat like a magic rhyme; all done with care and precision. For three minutes I stop and listen, then I can turn my collar up and fall into the day.
I first caught this on a link a good writer friend of mine shared with me by email to the Guardian Culture/Performance section back in December 2008. I posted it up to Sensitize (my activist arts, literature and medias community of forums) that day. Going back into Sensitize this evening and I came across that post. I still think this is a powerful piece of work by Linton Kwesi Johnson. Marvelous stuff :))
