@Hustla1011011 we just replaced the engine with another used one!! Runs great!!

I assume this means you can change the rod bearings in situe on the car once you've removed the sump?

yes you can hang the engine from the top and drop the crossmember and motor mounts to get the oil pan down...its a bit of work but possible......
