Yeah, and it only works on that one level. Barely. The 'Literal Video Version' series from this same creator is much much better, as was 'You Can't Tell Me (What To Do)' and others.
There's a ring of truthiness to the gag here, but it's too obvious to be truly funny.

The humor lies in irony (an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected), which is (IMHO) the root of all humor. One would not expect a person to behave in such a manner. Thus the joke.

I don't think the intent was to say that she (the driver) was unable to drive, but that she was utterly lost and had no idea where she was. With several emotional states that were similar to the stages of grief. Perhaps an intentional choice of the creator.

I think it is an (exagerated) commentary on the trend of dependancy on technology. I know of a person was unable to provide directions to their own home without logging on to Google maps.

yeah some people just don't get things. :\ or they focus on the wrong thing, and fight for their initial perception. it's okay. :)
