The truth about Tibet

In 1991 it was the Tibet year. In Amsterdam the Tibet foundation organised a meeting day at Paradiso followed by a journey to the Chinese Embassy to protest against the occupation of Tibetan country.
I tried to show and question why a country as Kuwait gets liberated in several months while Tibet is waiting already more than, at that moment, 30 years, now it's more than 48 years, for this to happen.
Note:I was surprised nobody from our national tv network was present at this protest manifestattion and I'm even more surprised al the countries have agreed to go to China for the Olympics while most of them signed a resolution at the UN in 1951 that condemned the occupation from Tibet by China. This means the UN is just a weak institute that talks with a double tongue.
And it again it proves economic thinking rules and will in the end destroy all the good things we try to stand for on this planet. This video will soon be subtitled in Englisch.

The Han-Chinese can be very proud of:

- the Tibet-invasion 60 years ago (because Tibet was never the homeland of the Han - Chinese),

- the terrible culture-revolution in China with millions of dead people

(Chinese Red Guards),

- the bloody massacre of the PLA on the Tienanmen Square 1989,

- the murder of many tibetian monks 2008

China (PRC) destroy the culture and religion, steal and exploit the natural resources of Tibet and Xinjiang. The native pople are poor as before.

H.H.The Dalai Lama gets his money from donations from his people and this is spend for the community.He lives only from a very small amount of money and only the necessary amount is used for let him travel worldwide.

I think most Zang Ethnic Minorities (Tibetans) activists, living outside of their motherland, China and a small number inside China, including a small minority of Western sympathisers have realized that they have lost a lot of respect in the International Communities today. The disruptions of the Olympic Torch, The Beijing Games, The riots in Lhasa, Xizang (Tibet) province of China in March 2008, and many other disruptive demonstrations had been condemn by people worldwide. Wow, how can you talk from both sides of your mouth, "Mexican Movement?" You believe in indigenous freedom for Nican Tlac, but not Tibet? I've seen The Dalai Lama's home, it is not oppulent. He spends his time traveling the world to educate others about Tibet and Buddhism. He is a monk, western materialism is not his life. Millions FREELY donate to the cause of Tibet, because they believe in what I assume you believe, freedom of cultural practice.
