@rachie883 Yes, they're all using it in varying degrees. But the way you defend her makes it sound as if winning competitions is all that matters, no matter what methods are used to get there. Is this the kind of competition ethics we want? "As long as I reach the top, everything goes"?

This is sad. :( It's torture! lets STOP it! Anky isn't the only one doing this though, but they all have to try hard to get this hyperflexion and it's stupid. =( I hope that no one else does this from now on! PLEASE lets all make it STOP!

i see everyone abusing anky for this but its not just her is it ? look at the other riders aswel, but really if this method didnt work then why has she won so many competions?

Hmm.. Shouldn't there be a straight line from your elbow through the reins to the horse's mouth at all times? Because what I see is the reins, perpendicular to the rider's arm..

Are you insane? This is certainly NOT classical riding, but rather domination and Andy may be a gold medalist, but she deserves to have her chin tied to her chest. This abuse MUST stop - this is barbaric.

Das ist keine extreme Rollkur, sondern die "normale", wenn so etwas überhaupt als normal bezeichnen kann. Und ja, es gibt garantiert sehr, sehr viele Richter, die dies gesehen haben... Bloß interessiert sie das kein Stück, bzw selbnst wenn... sie sagen nichts, damit sie weiter eingeladen werden. Wer den Mund aufmacht, wird nicht mehr eingeladen und kann dadurch natürlich seinem Beruf nicht mehr nachgehen...
