What do you look like when you sleep with sleep apnea? Take a look how the tongue constricts air flow causing you to choke.

  • christ, did that song had to be used?!

  • After knowing I had this for over 10 years, I finally got tested before my girlfriend killed me. I was rated at 160. I had no idea, because I was used to it. The CPAP machine works great, but it's a pain in the ass. I'm getting the throat surgery done soon, then the jaw re-alignment after. I'll take the risk before I'll be stuck to that machine forever.

  • @NYCPulpHero agree!

  • I remember when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. They put me on this large oxygen machine for about a month and in the end it did more harm than good. I'm a fairly light sleeper. While I love a soft humming noise in the background like the heating system in the winter, I couldn't stand the lights nor the oxygen cord. Plus...as it turned out, my lack of oxygen came from the dry air in Colorado so during the winter, Vics vapor rub and sometimes vapor machine to keep my sinuses clear and moist.

  • i wake up not breathing every couple minutes every night but i dont snore at all is that still sleep apnea.. every thing i see about it says snoring... mine is when im trying to fall asleep i get a huge rish over by body similar to one of those falling from the sky dreams where it feels like you just feel on to your bed but then im breathing heavily and sometimes my heart races but once i fall asleep it doesnt happen in the middle of the night it just prolongs me for initially falling asleep

You can also call them at 1-800-SLEEP-TEST.

  • think is u dont know if u have it unless you sleep with someone else.. and u certainly dont have to be grossly overweight to have it either..~

  • That's creepy.

  • @JLife15 Stop spamming the comments sections of all sleep apnea videos to sell your crappy snoring chin straps.

  • Diet plays a huge part in this. Not only will being overweight contribute to sleep apnea, but so will mucous-causing food such as dairy, gluten and sugar, as swelling occurs in the body from these kinds of foods.
