This my friend is sheer genius. I had spent 3 hours or so trying to change an inner tube and looked at several vids on here and still couldn't do it. I just couldn't get the tyre back on. do i need a special pump to inflate a road bike tire? becuase the valve is diffrent.(its much skinnier)

@remon2727 Hi there, the skinnier valve is called a presta valve. You can either use a bike pump (which does both schrader and presta valves) or use a presta valve adapter which converts your bike's presta valve into a conventional schrader so that you can use a normal pump or a compressor.

Best instructional video for changing road bike tubes, period. I saw another video where they used the bike levers to get the tube back on which I learned from this video is a big fucking NO. Lastly, this guy sounds Russian. Russians don't fuck around.

I was able to complete the second part of the task by watching another video so i don't think the problem is on this end. Still thanks for the 1st part of the video as i previously stated, but when dealing with something more complicated than changing the tube you need some closer shoots.

Cheers dude! Props to your vid. I've borrowed my old mans road bike whilst he's overseas and i've only ever ridden bmx when i was younger. I struggled for a bit and my hands are back but I couldn't have done it without you mate! THANK YOU for saving me $15AU and a trip to the bike shop!!! :)

Thanks! I punctured two tubes and took it to a bike shop. I should have watched your video first before trying to do it by myself. I used the lever when installing the tire and it always punctured the tubes.

This video is good in terms of changing the tire tube, useless in terms of putting the back tire back on.
