@jlaynetn I'm talking about what actually happened and not what right-wingers hypothesize about. If you want to pretend like the New Deal didn't bring us out of the depression despite the facts on the ground, then that's a delusion you'll just have to live with I guess.

It’s apparent from the comments that many have assumed this to be a counter demonstration to the OWS black Friday boycott. The time and place was chosen for the number of eyes & ears that would be there to see it, a demonstration unobserved being somewhat pointless. It was planned weeks before any announcements from OWS regarding a black Friday boycott. Support for or against consumerism & corporations never factored in.
