Im getting my gaming rig for my birthday on march 6th:) Specs are amd fx 6100, sapphire 6870, 8gb Vengance Ram corsair 600cx asus m5a97:) have you sorted out that lag problem when you were only getting a crappy 20fps?

Your games lag in fraps because you are recording on the same HDD you are playing your game on. Either you can get more than one HDD and have your game play on one and your fraps record or just get an external HDD and have your fraps record to that. It puts a lot of stress on your HDD to play a high-end game and record a high-end game on same harddrive. Solution: If you care about making video games videos that much, consider getting small 500gb external HDD. Should run 60fps smoothly after.

@NBGCUSTOMS It is indeed, but strangely enough, I can only record at about 30FPS in Fraps :(

@DaedricDan In fraps did you change the video capture settings to 60fps?

@NBGCUSTOMS Yeah man, I've tried absolutely everything but it's just too laggy, it drops into the low 20s a lot of the time. It shouldn't do because I have a full high end gaming PC, but it does unfortunately :(
