great video

I'm afraid you got it wrong Fanuc has the world's strongest and most robust robot in the world. KUKA robots can't handle heavy loads for long periods of times and they self distruct because they are under engineered.

This video has been slowed down so that we can see the process.....

i want one *0*

in norwegian kuka means the dick.

@Serostern the gears won't last long at 3000kg, in fact, the controller is limited to a certain amount, it will detect over torque and not budge after 1200 or so probably. either that or you'd have to move it at fractions of a mm per second
-
@garrypope60 just a demonstration. you'll also notice the tandem 'load sharing' where both bots move together. also a demonstration in this case

I love the pure audible PWM frequencies the Kuka roboters emit- No gear noise whatsoever.
This is nothing to what I've seen in Japan. That "car" doesn't even have any parts on it, including no engine.

@jlmadill that's because it only was a demonstration. The KUKA Titan is still the strongest industrial robot in the world

I wonder how much weight it can lift.

it's built to handle weights up to 1000kg. Put in order to have some "reserves", for tools and so on, it can actually handle ~1150kg
