this song did make me feel good. ive been all depressed the past few weeks. i hardly ever left my bed. but today i got to clean house and decided to listen to dr dog and today was great. =D i cleaned my messy house, got outside and rode my bike to the park and all around. i'm so glad you got your mojo back! i can connect.. i was close to throwing in the towel over the summer and was near suicidal recently. i can honestly say that Dr Dog helped me get through the grittiest, nastiest depression of my life. maybe i should follow your lead and bust my bike outta the basement.. haha..

There is a great video of them playing this live at their "We All Belong" cd release party at Johnny Brenda's in Philly with all of the horns and strings. There is another from when they did the dree show in Rittenhouse Park, Philly in the summer of 2007.They rarely do this song live. Check them out on the youtube search.

great. Yes, that is always one they cannot play on the road due to the horns and strings. They had local friends/colleagues/musicians who stepped up at Johnny Brenda's and Rittenhouse Park to do the free show with them. It was incredible. They are still on the youtube site if you search the song title. It is my all time favorite song of theirs.

oh my goodness... i just watched it and got chillbumps.  what i wouldn't give to have been in that crowd.

i'm seeing them in May at Terminal 5... perhaps i'll send a special prayer to the god of rock n' roll that they will play it..?

@talkrite Yeah, I'd love to hear this one live too. I'm still hoping to finally see them for the first time at the Electric Factory here in Philly. I've gotta get tickets for that one. Caught that on XPN on their Live Friday Noon Concert Series. Love the new song, "Stranger" I've been a fan of Dr. Dog since 2005 and still haven't seen them live. Hope to soon!

i was lucky enough to catch the rittenhouse show..i reckon they may have played it at the bowery once too. i was there when they had an orchestra with em, and i believe it was right after 'we all belong' was released. may wanna check fer yerself =)
