This tune is a great amalgam of the Nashville sound and Pop/Rock N Roll -- a carry-over of Rockabilly from the 1950s. It worked well for Johnny Rivers too.

Great Memories,Stationed in Augsburg Germany in the mid 60s,this was on all the juke boxs in the bars.
