2000(S52) BMW Dakar-II M Coupe with Straight Pipes

Still retained the cats and stock resonators, I just replaced the mufflers with straight pipes to dual tips.

do you think i would pass emissions if i removed the resonators all i did was remove the big heavy mufflers

i got my m roadster for $15,000 i put a meisterschaft race exhaust on mine and it sounds just like the one in this video. the good thing is it passes emissions unlike straight pipe. at $1,400 is a bit pricey but much cheaper than eisennmann and is an amazing custom exhaust i get people telling me how much they like it all the time

Mine passed smog just fine. this system cost me 300$. Only downside is I never got SS tips so there was a tiny but of rusting, otherwise it did just fine :D

this sounds good but it's not straight pipes - you kept the cats on... would sound so much better without the cats.

Anyway, seems like the owner takes good care of his M-coupe. They are somewhat rare, espescially in dakar gelb.

@drboboh shifting time was perfect, these cars arent really built for slamming gear to gear, gotta let the revs settle a little bit unless your on the track, and willing to lose a little transmission life

Also, looks like AZ where I am from. About to be a future M coupe owner myself :)
