Mouton was good but very hard on the cars, preferring to the use the 8500rpm rev limiter at nearly every opportunity, Walter was awesome and far more consistent than Mouton who had a habit of bending the cars, don`t forget Blomqvist and especially Hannu Mikkola who was THE driver that carried out all the testing on the car prior to its 1st outing in the 1980 Algarve Rally which it competed as a course car

The 1985 car in the Pikes Peak was a Sport Quattro E1 and was driven by Mouton, Walter drove the above car in 1987 (Evolution 2) sandwiched between them in 86 was Bobby Unser in the Daniels Communications E2
