You DON'T have to be an Arizona resident to get an Arizona CCW concealed permit. It's recognized in Arizona and 32 other states, but not California.

@gargantuan38 Not so sure about that. I live on a rural nine acres in California and my pistol would do me no good against rattlesnakes, mountain lions or two legged predators if it were unloaded. And as far as i know, when I am on my property, I can carry anyway I like. And even if I can't, I will.

@gargantuan38 Obtaining a CCW in California is impossible. Unless you are as movie star, a politician or a person moving large amounts of cash or jewelry for business purposes, fahgit about it.

@tombstonetom67 in cali you can own a gun but you can not have a high capicity mag (more then 10 rds). and you can not carry it consealed. you can open carry it on your property if you have a fire arm. EX if you live on a lot of property, you can by a drop holster (placed and strapped on your thigh) or any other holster that is visable from three sides (from behind, the side, & from the front), you can carry it. BUT it can not have a bullet in the chamber or a loaded mag in it. hope this helps

I Really need to get a good job so i can move to AZ. I live in NYC my $7/hr security job sucks ($800 gun permit fee). i like police, i wouldnt mind being one. Pointers??

Follow up question. So from what I know, it's a 60 dollar processing fee for a CCW and most instructors of courses to teach you that is around 34 - 50 dollars....so altogether the entire amount of getting a CCW could set me around 90 - 110 dollars?
