A Pacman game with Lego robots. Here the Pacman is the robot with the green parts. It has to traverse the entire maze atleast once to win the game. The robots are all line followers and must follow the blue lines. Black squares mark the center of squares. Red lines mark path boundaries.
The enemy robots' coordinates are continuously transmitted to the central controller that runs on the PC and calculates the best direction for the Pacman based on the coordinates and current directions it receives from the enemy robots. It then transmits these coordinates to the Pacman.
Due to lack of accuracy in the movement of the motors, the robots are unable to go in a straight line. For that reason, the robots are made to move in sync and are made to halt for 5 seconds when they reach the center of the next cube, so that they can be aligned.
This project was implemented as a part of the Real Time Systems course at NC State University.
