IMA: Infant Mortality Awareness

The mission of the Infant Mortality Task Force is
to improve pregnancy outcomes and reduce
infant mortality through community collaboration.
Our goal is to reduce infant mortality in Tarrant County
through the implementation of a sustained initiative
developed by the Task Force. We strive to meet
the Healthy People 2010 objective for infant mortality
of no more than 4.5 infant deaths/1000 live births.
