Icy conditions tighten their grip on Buxton and the High Peak

THE BIG Freeze is continuing to cause problems across the High Peak for a fourth consecutive week.
High winds have caused snow drifts which have led to many main routes in and around the High Peak being closed.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care and check the weather forecast and check for delays before setting off.
The cold snap is set to continue with more snow, ice and freezing temperatures forecast for the coming week.
