Is your 5-15% efficiency gain on the lifetime of the installation or when there is shading present? In my experience the angle of incidence makes a massive difference to the output (panel perpendicular if poss. to suns rays) ... that's why 3 axis trackers are best if you can afford the upfront cost. Sloping panels also aid run off of debris, snow, etc and thus help keep themselves clean. What's good on one side is bad on the other.
