The only way to stop illegals is to strictly enforce IDs and allow all police to stop and deport suspected illeglas. High fines must be levied against all renters and employers of illegals.

@toure7 I think the Geography of Greece, and it's location, has been it's downfall. You are on the edge of Asia, and also next to Albania and other poor eastern European countries. The only answer would be some kind of "Repatriation Incentive" - where immigrants are offered a sum of money to return to their homeland. It's not racist to want to repatriate people who are finding it "difficult" to integrate. It's almost as bad here in the UK and in the Netherlands.

@anglosaxons100 I know that in UK you don't have the same economical problems but you also have many people from India and Pakistan and you don't want them.Greece is doomed. We have a huge debt because of the corrupted politician and people.There are still nice places to visit but trust me Athens now is a really dangerous and dirty city.Avoid the city at all costs.Go everywhere else in Greece.Meterora,crete,rhodos,p­eloponisos,macedonia etc

@toure7 I am very sorry to hear this, it is very sad. I have been to many Greek Islands and mainland Greece, and I think your country is beautiful, despite these problems. It is a shame your politicians have let you down so much. But it's the same here. Lot's of Debts and Immigration problems. I suppose Britain is slightly better off, as we are an island, and not close to countries which are a threat. I hope the Greek people can one day overcome these problems.

@Honeydoole we have useless and corrupted politicians.We can't secure the borders.My country will be erazed from the map and become a muslim country. We are 10.000.000 Greeks and there are 3.000.000 immigrants. 30 years ago Greece had 200.000 immigrants....So after 30 years 2.800.000 immigrants came here. Greece is a shithole now. After 50 years there will be no Greeks left
