  • The voices come from the wrong characters, and everything seems to be out of sync.

  • I remember from being awake at 6am. It was the first cartoon available at 6 am in the Greater NY area.

  • Thank you. I just uploaded this episode with the audio in sync!

  • Just thought of looking up the name of this cartoon I haven't seen since I was a kid. I'm 47 now, but I remember this used to show on channel 9 (CFTO) toronto. They also used to one called "The Land Of Oz". Great memories though..thanks for sharing this.

  • @yockybunny

Yep, almost had to be. They had all sorts of odd stuff (Frightenstein came from good ol' channel 11) and last night, Ed the Sock reminded me that this show even existed!

  • WNBC-TV, Channel 4 in New York, indeed scheduled "DODO" on Saturday mornings at 8:30 [just before the network's line-up began], from 1966 through '69.

  • 'the night before DoDo...'

  • We're 2 Dodo's of a feather, neptuneficher! I too sang this tune especially while I stuffed my face with Quisp cereal!driving my mom nuts.I was 5 in may of 1970 and I was the only one of my friends to remember this show...so of course I thought for a long time that the show was only in my head.Dodois my all time favorite cartoons of my youth followed closely behind by HR Puff N Stuff then the Banana Splits (especially when they showed Danger Island and the Adventures of Huck Finn)

  • I just read this was aired on TV in 1965 ,and was on various channels into the 1970's. Colonel Bleep aired in 1958 on TV. Some of us may have seen new DODO cartoons shown with old Colonel Bleep cartoons on various cartoon shows in the mid 1960's.

  • wow. WOW! I used to sing this eating cereal in the morning...I was about 4 or five!! early 1970's. until now I thought maybe I was making it up !! Now all I have to see is Philip and the white colt
