This video shows my theory of one reason you may get tipped primers on the Lee Load Master reloading press.

  • Opps. Link on the left, not the right.

  • Thanks, MascotAL. We've been discussing these new primer assemblies in my forums. No one had made a connection with bad results and a die in station 2 yet. I relayed your comment there.

  • Great video thanks. One thing I would like to add. You can not use a second sizing die for priming if you are using the new replacement system from lee. I installed the new prime system on my press and started crunching primers. I found that if I removed my second sizing die the primers started to feed normally.

  • you and shadow heave the best videos,, very informative,, i have a question, how do you know which slider to use with which primer,, my press was given to me with no directions and i cant find which one to use

  • Interesting theory. It does make sense. I can see my bench top move when I pull the ram up. However, I think I'll reinforce the table top before I dig a hole in the floor (like your next video) :-) Thanks for sharing.

  • Nicely done video.

  • you will need a primer pocket cleaner

  • Very informative, thanks.

  • I love the side view shot without the priming system installed. It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at, but it is a great angle.
