Me flying my new Trex 250.
After sorting out the numerous tail issues, I have it holding nicely on a Logictech 2100t and accompanying servo (8g).

  • @lowtus7 yeah I know about the calibration. Don't forget to disconnect the servo during calibration, almost lost one that way.

Had a crash since then, and have been hunting down a vibe problem. Got tired of it and got a gy520. And while it deals with the vibe better, I still had to find the vibe.

It seems that the tiniest bit of a tracking issue throws some pretty strong high frequency vibes through the bird.

  • Here is a little tip. On this gyro, hold down the setup button while powering up the gyro. Wait till all the lights flash twice, then let the button go. This will put the gyro into self calibration mode, takes about a minute or so, you will know you are in the right mode when the lights illuminate in progression, first slow then faster. Hope it helps, it did for me.
