How to draw hands.

Show notes: The perspective of thumb and it's measurement in relation to the rest of the hands. Draw the palm, here is the wrist. The over-all shape of the palm. The thumb coming off here, the first joint of the thumb. The center of the palm determines where the the first segment of the thumb comes out. The wedge shaped digit. The ark here coming off here, The alignment with that. The tip lines up with the ark of the knuckles, the outer edge of the palm. It falls off at the pinkie. The ark has more of a smooth movement. The tip of the thumb, the index finger, the ring finger. It's better to follow the ark through here. Length of the fingers. Where to place the knuckles. How to position the knuckles. The thumb in relation to the rest of the hand. See how it works moving in 3D space. Reduced to simple block form. Starts off as block. Lob off the corner. Find the mid point from wrist the outer knuckles. Find the joint. Place the ark to determine where the fingers will go. Get a sense of how long the thumb and fingers are. How long to make each digit.
