Actually, metal is removed from the blade. The steel is magnetic when rubbed on other steel (the knife blade) and picks up chipped metal from the blade.

WHATS REALLY GROSS IS: WHEN HE TAKE A BITE OF FOOD, HE STICKS HIS TONGUE OUT OF HIS MOUTH AS THE FOOD IS COMING TO IT. FRIGGIN SICK. YOU GOTTA KEP YOUR TONGUE IN YOUR MOUTH WHEN EATING SO PEOPLE DON'T SEE THE FOOD ON YOUR TONGUE.
