  • @SuperPatricia88 Its in California on the way to death Valley. Please take great care when you go, it is a hot desert in summer. HWY 395 near the town of Olancha CA. take 190 when you come to T make right. when the hills to turn into a valley start looking west. be patient in the distance search white speck (white cannister) . If you go past power lines that cross road turn around. Please take water!

  • Can you believe two people recently died looking for this location...

  • Wow. Very powerful work. I too go to locations that were made famous by music and film. I went to Candian, Tx, where the Crossroads scene from the movie Cast Away was filmed. Thx for posting this. That album, and the cover shot of the band and the Joshua Tree, had a profound effect on me. Peace.

  • Many people falsely label The Edge as a guitarist; he is a musician.

  • Desde Niño me gusta U2 y me seguiran gustando... mis hermanos mayores tenian discos de ellos sobre todo el "The Joshua Tree"...

  • this is great a part of musical history that should be remembered

  • 1990 rattle and hum was my first vinyl and my brother gave it to me at my 12. birthday. since that time i love U2!

when i was 14 yrs., my family made holiday in usa and we drove with a camper through california, utah, arizona and nevada.

i´m german and it was such great experiance to get there with this music, where the joshua trees grows, i´ll never forget that feeling anymore...

  • @Robin61478 thanks so much my friend...this is a magic place..good bless you..one day i go there with my family...thanks....u2 portugal paul

  • @SuperPatricia88 The closest town is Lone Pine, California. Many people believe the place is in Joshua Tree National Park, which is not true. The tree is about 26 miles (about 40 kilometers - I think) from Lone Pine, traveling east on Highway. 190. You can Google/look up GPS coordinates online. Yes; if you come visit the United States you should go.

  • @Robin61478 please tell me where is the place i wanna go one day whith my family wife and daughter...we loves u2 4 ever...portugal loves u2 please tell me please
