The Naked Fat Girl: Mom and Mercy Health

Hello, my name is Jaydee Faire and I'm naked today to tell you about what Mercy Health is doing to my mother.
My mom has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a disease that effects the nerves in her body, causing her to be in horrific pain twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. So far, she's been managing her pain with a drug called Tramadol and lives a mostly normal life, taking care of her horses and getting ready for her son's wedding.
On Thursday, August 26th, my mom found out that there had been a mix-up with the quantity of her meds. Instead of her normal amount, her doctor was only allowing her half the pills she needed to get through the month, and she's since run out.
Her regular doctor has gone on vacation, leaving a stand-in to handle her patients while she's gone. The stand-in, a doctor at Mercy Health in Roseville California, refuses to see my mother and will not give her the medication she needs in order to function properly.
Friday August 27th my mother went down to Mercy Health even though she was not fit to drive because of the pain she was in. She told the staff at Mercy that she was going to sit in their office until something was done about her situation. Far from doing nothing, the people there mocked and belittled my mother before finally calling the police on her. Three police cruisers showed up and my mother was forced to leave the premises or be arrested.
Because she is in so much pain, my mother has trouble sleeping. She can't stand, sit or even lie down for long periods of time. She can't concentrate to read, or watch TV. She's in too much pain to care for her horses or her dog, and she has no appetite. In short, my mother's pain is taking her life away, and all the staff at Mercy Health could do was tell her to "grow up."

I don't understand how you being naked will help anyone. Are we supposed to care about your mother because you're naked? I don't see what one has to do with the other, or how it would help. Also did you walk out of your house naked?

Tramadol is an opioid. Are you at all concerned about your mother's possible dependence? Also are you concerned about your health? You can have a heart attack at your BMI. Since this controversy I hope you have both been properly diagnosed and helped. I am sure you are nice people, but I find it disturbing when patients demand dugs to make themselves feel good for unspecified pain conditions... and then act up in ways that suggest a mental or conversion disorder.
