I've seen pearl jam a handful of times, more often than not, Eddie is a bit buzzed, if not roaring drunk, and is a great entertainer. I'd like to nominate Eddie Vedder for best person ever.

@Jblod240 Grunge died long ago. Right. But pearl jam have remained and survived just playing rock and roll. I was one of those nirvana fans who listened pearl jam just as a group that had reached that high because of what nevermind ment. Now, i listen to them as one of my favourite groups, far away form labels or comparisons. Those were other times, and it's very hard to have lived all those years and still play and create, and of course, having amazing live shows.

Most bands wouldn't give a shit about ushers, concessions workers, or even their own fans. That was really cool to see them bring an 89 year old man on stage, let him speak and then the fans chant his name. Gotta love P.J.
